Options
The XStream is MaxStream's second longest range, low power OEM RF module. This affordable RF module is smaller than a
credit card and allows for robust performance in North America and Israel.The 9XStream (900 MHz) is pin-for-pin and software compatible
with the 24XStream (2.4 GHz), allowing for flexible deployment of your products throughout the world (only one OEM board design needed).
A 1200 RF Data Rate module is also available with -114 dBm receiver sensitivity for longer range.

- Native RS485/422 (multi-drop bus) protocol support.
- Retry and acknowledgements of packets provides guaranteed delivery of critical packets in difficult environments.
- Networking features allow up to 7 independent pairs (networks) to operate in close proximity.
- Multiple low power modes including shutdown pin, cyclic sleep and serial port sleep for current consumption as low as 26 µA.
- Host interface baud rates from 1200 to 57600 bps.
- Signal strength register for link quality monitoring and debugging.
- 9th bit parity support (None, Even, Odd, Mark, Space)

What kind of antenna should I use?
|
An integrated wire antenna is provided free of charge with all MaxStream™ wireless OEM modules (at your
request).This 22-guage wire antenna comes in 3" length for 900 MHz modules and provides sufficient range for testing and many short range
applications. Customers report enjoying the ease-of-concealment and performance of this free feature. Alternatively, you can order your
wireless modules with an RPSMA connector (required by the FCC for customers using SMA-type connectors).
